He has experience is in the Retail, Commercial, and Residential sectors and has completed hundreds of roll-out projects and several flagship locations. He received his Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Business Administration from New Jersey Institute of Technology, is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.

Dereck is a designer who graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Architecture and minor in Environmental Studies & Sustainability.
